This morning I went to the front door to walk the dog, and the cat was just sitting there, staring at the door. She then turns to look at me, and we awkwardly stare at each other for a few seconds before I state “I don’t walk cats”. She meows begrudgingly at me and walks away. You can’t make this kind of stuff up.

Hey, if she wants to go for a walk, it might be worth a try. If she’s a little bitch about a leash then she clearly doesn’t really want to go for a walk.

Some cats take to it pretty well. Others will flop over and glare at you.

I’ve tried to put my parents cat of a leash before. He kept breaking his collar and running off. Spent more time obtaining the cat then on the leash. I walked him for the lulz.

I’m pretty sure my cat just wants to beat up the countless strays outside. A neighbor here feeds all the strays, about 8-10 last I checked. I would complain, but cats kill mice, which is needed in Michigan. My cat is a horrible killer.

Some cats are pretty cool. Probably need a harness instead of a collar though.

Really? I think good obedient cats are rare. Well, mine was pretty obedient, til we got a dog who gets super jealous, :/. Funny thing is, the cat can totally take the dog, she's just doesn't.

I seem to get cats that want to be loved and petted. Totally agree on the harness though. Cat collars are flimsy when compared to dog collars.

Yeah, those are the cats that are more likely to be down because they want to go on an adventure. I’m a dog person, but about 5-10% of cats I meet are surprisingly dog-like.

Should’ve been more specific, I meant walks, not obedience :) even if your cat likes walks on a leash I’m almost sure they won’t actually listen to you on a routine basis, lol

LLOOOLLLL

But as others have said

For a cat, get a harness. Cat collars are useless

Funny thing is, when we first got her at 6 months, I’d call out “lulu, where are you?” And she’d come running to me. I called out to her every night. And her name isn’t even Lulu. Then we got the dog. Dog stops her from approaching me. It’s sort of funny to watch though.

I like my dog 40% of the time. She barks too much I think. Here she is, not barking.

Lol, if I had a choice, I’d choose someone else to walk the dog. But I'm the only one awake at 7 in the morning. Can't wait till my kid gets older....
